Daniel Molloy

Daniel played for Athlone Town's U17 squad for the 2012/13 season before making the step up to the U19 squad for 2013/14. He went on to make his senior league debut for the club in 2015 when he came on as a late substitute against Cabinteely at Stradbrook on 12 June, and he finished the 2015 season with 13 league appearances to his name. Daniel also scored his first league goal that year with Athlone's lone strike in a 2-1 defeat to Cobh Ramblers at St Colman's Park on 29 August.

Daniel made a further 16 league appearances for Athlone in 2016 as the Midlands club finished bottom of the First Division.
