Karl played with LSL side Greystones United in 2012/13 and signed for Pat Devlin at Cabinteely in July 2018.
After eighteen months with Cabinteely, Karl signed for Wexford FC where he made 16 appearances during the truncated 2020 campaign.played for two years, leaving at the end of 2021. He stayed with Wexford for 2021 but left at the end of that season, signing for Bray Wanderers in January 2022.
