Jeff’s Biography

Jeff is a defender who was on the books at Newcastle United from the age of fourteen. Having become a regular in Newcastle's reserve side, Jeff spend a period on loan at Gateshead. On 1 July 2012 he signed for Ian Baraclough at Sligo Rovers. His debut for Sligo came as a 90th minute substitute away to Spartak Trnava in the Europa League on 19 July 2012 and Jeff also made 4 league appearances for the title winning side of 2012. In 2013 he became a regular in the Sligo defence, making 26 league appearances and playing in the FAI Cup winning side that beat Drogheda United 3-2 in the final at the Aviva Stadium.

Injuries affected Jeff during the 2014 season and he was limited to just fifteen appearances in the league as Sligo finished fifth. Injury also saw him miss the entire 2015 season. Jeff trained with Sligo during the 2016 pre-season but didn't join the club for the 2016 season.
