Gareth’s Biography
Gareth Brady is a central midfielder who joined Dundalk in January 2012, midway through the club's U19 season. He made his senior debut for Dundalk in the Leinster Senior Cup defeat to Crumlin United on 19 March 2012. His league debut came three months later away to Shelbourne on 6 July 2012 and he made 3 league appearances before being released at the end of the 2012 season.
On 13 May 2014 Gareth signed for Johnny McDonnell at Shelbourne but he left to join Drogheda United under Damien Richardson just a few months later, on 31 July 2014, without having made a senior appearance for the Reds. Gareth went on to make six league appearances for Drogheda towards the end of the season, as the club finished ninth in the 2014 league table.
Gareth appeared twice on the bench for Athlone before leaving the club in May 2015.
