Dermot’s Biography
Dermot came through the youth system at Dungannon before traveling to Scotland where he joined Hibernian in 2004. He made just one league appearance for Hibs in his four years at the club but he appeared in 11 league games for Queen of the South during a loan spell in 2008/07.
Dermot also had a loan spell at Livingston during the 2007/08 season where he made 28 league appearances before signing a permanent deal at Falkirk in August 2008. He made just 1 league appearance in two years at the club again went out on loan, this time to Arbroath.
In February 2010 Dermot left Falkirk to return to Northern Ireland where he signed for his home town club, Dungannon Swifts. He made 11 league appearances for Dungannon over the final months of the 2009/10 season and the following year he scored seven goals in 36 league appearances.
In February 2012 Dermot signed for Aaron Callaghan at Derry City.
