Thomas’s Biography
Thomas signed for Wexford Youths in January 2012 and made his club debut in the 6-0 win over Waterford United on the opening night of the season. He went on to make 14 league appearances for the Youths that year and in 2013 Thomas appeared in 19 of Wexford's 28 league games.
The following season, 2014, Thomas made the move to south-east rivals Waterford United making his league bow for the Blues on the opening weekend of the 2014 season. He made 14 league appearances that year and scored his first league goal in a 2-1 win over Cobh Ramblers in October of that year.
In 2015 Thomas suffered a significant ankle injury and only managed to line out for the Blues on 4 occasions in the league as Waterford finished second bottom of the First Division. His entire season was written off in 2016 and he only returned to league action when he signed for newly relegated Wexford Youths in January 2017.
