Oscar fled Zimbabwe due to his mother's involvement with the opposition to dictator Robert Mugabe. Since arriving in Ireland he has been on the books of Drogheda United, Shamrock Rovers and Shelbourne.

Oscar joined Galway United in July 2011 and made his debut for the club at Terryland Park on 15 July, coming on as a substitute in an 8-0 defeat by Sligo Rovers. He made 11 league appearances for the Tribesmen, scoring twice, as the club finished bottom of the Premier League.

Galway United declined to apply for a league license for the following season and in January 2012 Oscar played with SD Galway during their pre-season programme. But he featured just three times for the senior squad as an unused substitute and in January 2013 Oscar joined city rivals Mervue United. He made 11 league appearances and scored twice before switching to city neighbours Salthill Devon in July 2013.

Oscar scored on his debut for Salthill, in a 2-1 defeat to his former team Mervue United on 6 July 2013.
