In July 2011 Kevin signed for Finn Harps and made his debut on 6 August, scoring in a 2-0 win over Mervue United at Finn Park. He went on to make 10 league appearances for Harps over the latter half of the season.

In August 2012 Kevin joined Bohemians and made his debut for the club in a 3-1 defeat away to Sligo Rovers on 3 September 2012. He finished the season with 7 league appearances and one goal, which was the winner in a 1-0 win over Shamrock Rovers. The following year Kevin scored three goals in 24 league appearances as Bohemians finished tenth in the 2013 Premier Division. For the 2014 season, Kevin made another 25 league appearances for the Dublin club, scoring once in a 2-2 draw with Athlone Town, as Bohemians finished eighth under Owen Heary.

Kevin followed Owen Heary and signed for his home-town club, Sligo Rovers, for the 2015 season where he made 15 league appearances, scoring once, as Sligo finished ninth in the Premier Division. He left the club at the end of the season and signed for Galway United in January 2016, after playing with the PFAI squad at the FifPro tournament. Kevin made 27 appearances for Galway scoring 7 goals during 2016 before re-signing for the 2017 campaign.

Kevin then rejoined Bohs ahead of the 2018 season after leaving Galway United following their relegation. In December 2018, Kevin re-signed with Bohs for their 2019 campaign.
