Craig’s Biography

Craig is a central defender who had a spell at SPL side Dundee United before returning home in the summer of 2010 to join Cork City. He played with Cork City's FAI Youth Cup winning side of 2011 and in June of that year he signed for the senior side under manager Tommy Dunne.

In 2012 Craig signed for Waterford United and made his debut for the club in a Munster Senior Cup game against Cork side Castleview. His league bow came four weeks later when the Blues lost 6-0 to Wexford Youths on the opening night of the 2012 season and he went on to play in 25 of the club's twenty-eight league games that season. Such was Craig's form that he went on trial at West Ham that winter but he returned to Ireland ahead of the 2013 season.

In February 2013 Craig had a spell on trial at Limerick FC, playing against his former Waterford team-mates in a pre-season friendly. However, he ended up not playing for either side and in July 2013 he signed for Cobh Ramblers, making his debut for the Rams against Athlone Town on 12 July. He made 8 league appearances for Dave Hill's side that year.

Craig re-signed for Cobh for the 2014 season and went on to make another 26 league appearances for the club, scoring two goals, as Cobh finished at the bottom of the First Division table. In December 2014, Craig signed up for a second spell at First Division side Waterford United.

Craig made six league appearances for Waterford in his second spell before leaving the club in June 2015.
