Robbie’s Biography

Robbie played with Drogheda United in 2011, making his debut for the club as a substitute in the 3-0 defeat to Sligo Rovers on 13 May. He made 10 league appearances over the course of the season, adding 2 more in the FAI Cup.

In February 2012 he signed for Aaron Callaghan at Bohemians but first team opportunities proved rare and in July 2012 Robbie moved on, signing for Darius Kierans at Dundalk. He made his Dundalk debut against his former team Bohemians at Dalymount Park on 27 July but made just 3 league appearances and left Oriel Park at the end of the 2012 season.

In January 2013 Robbie made the move to Galway and signed for Tony Mannion at Salthill Devon. His first league game for Salthill came in the Galway derby against Mervue United on 15 March 2013 and he went on to play in 25 of the club's twenty-eight league games that year. At the end of 2013 Salthill ceded their league position to the new Galway team, Galway FC, and Robbie returned to Dublin where he signed for Shelbourne in January 2014. He made only 4 league appearances for the Reds that year, three as a substitute, as injury disrupted his contribution to the club's promotion challenge which ended with defeat to Galway FC in the play-off semi-finals.

Robbie moved to Malahide United in October 2014 before returning to the LOI with Athlone Town in January 2015. He then made a total of 13 appearances in the league during the 2015 season. He left the club at the end of the season.
