David’s Biography

Dave first played for Limerick in 2005, making 8 league appearances over the next two seasons. He didn't play for the club in 2007 but was back in Limerick colours in 2008 when he scored six times in 30 league appearances, following that up with a further two goals in 2009, this time making 23 league appearances.

Dave left Limerick at the end of the 2009 season and signed for local side Pike Rovers. It wasn't until July 2010 that he returned to league football when he signed for Tom French at Mervue United. He made his league debut for the Galway side in a 4-0 defeat away to Monaghan United on 30 July and scored against Finn Harps one week later. But these would be Dave's only 2 league appearances for the club.

Having left Mervue Dave returned to Pike Rovers and played in the club's 2011 FAI Cup run, scoring Pike's second goal in a 3-2 defeat against Sligo Rovers at the Showgrounds in the third round.

In June 2011 Dave signed for Mike Kerley at Athlone Town and made his debut for the Midlanders in a 1-1 draw against Longford Town on June 18th. He made 17 league appearances and scored once for Athlone but left the club at the end of the 2011 season.
