Breandán’s Biography
Brendan is a central defender who was a part of Cobh Ramblers 2011 A Championship squad. He also played with Cobh Ramblers U19 squad for the 2012/2013 season and when Cobh were re-admitted to the League in 2013 Brendan was included in the senior squad.
He missed the opening two league games of the 2013 season but made his League of Ireland debut away to Athlone Town on 23 March, going on to make 18 league appearances that year. He added another 23 league appearances in 2014 as Cobh finished bottom of the First Division table.
Brendan stayed with Cobh for the 2015 season and was a mainstay in the side, making twenty-six league appearances and netting twice in the process, in a 2-2 draw with Cabinteely and in a 4-1 win over Athlone Town, as Cobh finished sixth in the First Division. In January 2016, Brendan left the Ramblers after five years due to work commitments.
Having then spent five seasons away from St Colman's Park, Brendan rejoined Cobh Ramblers in January 2022.
