Jason’s Biography
Jason came through the underage system at Salthill Devon and made his league bow for the club when he came on as a substitute in a First Division game against Monaghan United on 25th March 2011. Jason went on to make 9 league appearances that year.
The following year Jason scored his first league goal for Salthill in a 2-2 draw with Mervue United on 13 April 2012 and he made 8 more league appearances that season. He was still young enough to turn out for Salthill Devon's U19s in their 2012/13 season and remained a part of Tony Mannion's first team squad in 2013. At the end of the U19 season in April 2013 Jason took time out to concentrate on studying for his Leaving Certificate.
He rejoined Salthill Devon's u19 squad for the 2013/2014 season and was made vice captain for the season. He stayed with the Galway based club for the next two seasons before joining Athlone Town in July 2016. He made his first appearance for the Midlanders against Drogheda United on 9 September and made 5 league appearances in the latter part of the season as Athlone finished bottom of the 2016 First Division table.
