Conor’s Biography

Conor played at Middlesborough in 2009/10 but returned from England to play with Shamrock Rovers. He signed for Bray Wanderers in February 2011 and made a spectacular league debut against St Patrick's Athletic on 11 March, coming on as a substitute and scoring twice in a 3-2 win. He went on to make 27 league appearances for the Seagulls that year and scored eight league goals, also cementing his place in the Republic of Ireland's U19 side that season.

Murphy signed for Monaghan United on 3rd January 2012 and made his debut against Dundalk on the opening night of the league season. But Monaghan withdrew from the league on 18 June and Conor signed for Derry City on 1 July 2012, making his debut against Sligo Rovers at the Brandywell on 13 July. He went on to make 12 league appearances for Derry but left the club at the end of the season, signing for St Patrick's Athletic in December 2012.

Conor made just 2 league appearances for Pats, both as a substitute and was released by the club at the end of June 2013. Within days he had put pen to paper with city rivals Bohemians and he made his league bow for the Gypsies against Limerick FC on 5 July 2013. He had made 10 league appearances by the season's end but he was soon on the move again and he left Bohemians to join neighbours Shelbourne in January 2014. Conor made his debut for the Reds on the opening weekend of the 2014 season and scored his first goal two weeks later in a 3-3 draw with Waterford United at Tolka Park. He bagged three league goals that year from 20 league appearances scoring against Galway FC in the club's unsuccessful promotion play-off.

Conor left Shelbourne at the end of the 2014 season and signed for Bohemians in February 2015. He left the club though without making an appearance. He joined Crumlin United soon after.
