Stephen ’s Biography

Stephen is a 6' 2" centre back who played with Cardiff City from 2008-2010 before signing for Dundee FC in Scotland. Dundee subsequently went into administration and Stephen returned to Dublin.

In 2011 Stephen played for Bray Wanderers. He made his debut for Bray in the Leinster Senior Cup defeat against St Patrick's Athletic at the Carlisle Grounds in March 2011, scoring on his league debut against Galway United, before going on to make nine appearances for Bray.

In July 2012 Stephen signed for Athlone Town and made his debut in the Midlands derby against Longford Town on 7 July. He had made 6 league appearances by the end of the season and took part in the club's pre-season games in 2013 without signing for Roddy Collins squad that year. Last captaining the side and received their player of the month award in July.

Stephen took part in Athlone Town's 2013 pre-season programme but did not sign for Roddy Collins' squad. Instead he joined LSL side Firhouse Clover for the 2013/14 season. In January 2014 Stephen returned to the League of Ireland when he signed for Shane Keegan at Wexford Youths. He played in 27 of Wexford's 28 First Division fixtures and scored three times, including two winners against Cobh Ramblers and another in the 4-0 rout of Waterford United.

Injury disrupted Stephen's 2015 season, with him missing the first eight games before coming back to make 7 league appearances. However, another injury ruled him out for the rest of the season as Wexford went on to lift the First Division title and gain promotion to the Premier Division.

In 2016 Stephen made 22 league appearances as Wexford Youths were relegated from the Premier Division after a play-off defeat to Drogheda United. At the end of the season Stephen left Ireland to live in Australia where he played with Southern United.
