Ryan’s Biography
Ryan is a former Jamaican goalkeeper who played for Shamrock Rovers in the Europa League in 2011.
Ryan started his career with Jamaican club Harbour View where he played between 2003 and 2006. In 2006 he was awarded a sports scholarship to the University of Tampa in Florida. When he graduated he signed for Portland Phoenix in Maine where he played in 2010.
In February 2011 Ryan signed for Michael O'Neill at Shamrock Rovers and made his competitive debut for the Hoops in a Setanta Cup tie away to Lisburn Distillery on 14 March. He made 7 league appearances as Rovers claimed the League title and added 14 more cup appearances, playing in 8 of Rovers Champions League and Europa League games.
Ryan left Shamrock Rovers at the end of the 2011 season.
