Michael ’s Biography
The central defender joined Reading on scholarship terms at the start of the 2009/10 season after being spotted at Thurrock Youth.
Hector gained experience in the Reading reserve team and went out on loan at Havant & Waterlooville and Bracknell Town. He then signed his first professional contract in the summer of 2010 and was given the squad number 35. Soon afterwards he joined Oxford City on loan.
In January 2011 Michael joined Dundalk on loan and made his debut on the opening night of the season in a 3-1 away defeat to Shamrock Rovers. He made 11 league appearances and scored twice, both goals coming in a 3-0 defeat of Galway United in May. An injury picked up in May ended his loan spell and he returned to Reading in June.
