Paul’s Biography

Paul played with Monaghan United from the start of the 2004 season and became the youngest player in the club's history to make 100 appearances.

In January 2010 he stepped up to the Premier Division, moving to Sligo Rovers where he signed for Paul Cook. Paul made 7 league appearances for Sligo but failed to gain a regular place and he returned to Monaghan in the summer transfer window, making his second debut for the club as a substitute for the injured Ian McNeill in a 4-0 win over Mervue United on 30 July 2010.

Paul made 7 league appearances for Monaghan over the remainder of 2010 and scored once, in a 4-1 win over Wexford Youths at Ferrycarrig Park. 2011 saw Paul make 21 league appearances as the club won promotion to the Premier Division, but on 18 June 2012 Monaghan withdrew from the league leaving Paul without a club. On 24 July it was confirmed that he had signed for Darius Kierans at Dundalk and he went on to make 10 league appearances for the Lilywhites before being released at the end of the 2012 season.

Paul subsequently played for LSL side Malahide United.
