Four minutes of additional time here in Galway
Wexford could have snatched a goal just now after some confusion across the Galway defence. Karl Fitzimons had the flick shot after Conor Kearns seemed to call for the ball but hesitated before claiming it.
Walsh has just headed over from a Killian Brouder long throw.
Keating is after bearing down on goal once again afterNugent did excellently to win an aerial dual with Jsack Doherty. The striekr was right in front of goal but with Wexford players throwing themselvesd in front he blazes the ball voer the bar.
Another effort on goal by Ruairí Keating but the striker pulls the ball to the right of the post.
Great chance for Galway after Boylan dinked a high ball voer the Wexford defence. Both Keating and Corcoran were racing to it with the striker getting therew first but his effort was fliked too high and voer the bar.
There's been a good bit of pressure on Galway in the last few minutes with a couple of dangerous free-kicks from Wexford. The visitors never managed to really come close to scoring witrh Galway defending well.
First yellow for Jack Doherty here after the re-start after Walsh cleared the ball and the forward milled him.
Great save by Corcoran in the Wexford goal. McCormack sent a ball into the box with a free-kick and Stephen Walhs met the ball ina crowded box. Corcoran's quick intervention to push the ball behind for a corner meant the ball was kept out of the top corner.
Keating was just inches away from putting the home side inf ront after Cunningham pulled off some great hold up play int he Wexford box. He managed to blaze the ball across the goalmouth with Keating sliding in but just not timing it correctly and letting the ball go wide.
Diving save by Corcoran to stop a shot by Cunningham just now.
Wexford with teir first effort on goal just now after Luke Turner headed the ball across goal to Doherty. Doghert swung his leg at the ball but Conor Kearns got down well to make the save.
Galway with another effort on goal (just about) after a long throw from Killian Brouder. Maurice Nugent met the ball in the box but his soft header just bounced in front of Corcoran for the goalkeeper to collect.
There's a sohrt reak in the play here. Still not many efforts on goal to talk about with just Galway's two hits of teh woodwork and Cunningham's offside goal so far,
Wexford almost got in there after a long clearance after a good set piece opportunity for Galway. A poor defensive header allowed Jack Doherty put Galway under pressure but he couldn't capitalise.
Very close for Galway just now with the home sdie having a goal declared offside. It was Cunningham who put the ball into the net after Keating knocked the ball down for his teammate with his head, 0-0 still here in Galway.
Galway have just hit the post twice! Padraic Cunningham nodded a header off the right post before the ball came back to Gary Boylan. The defender setteld himself for a well placed shot but it nicked the outside of the left post and went behind.
Jack Doherty kst took the ball down the right flank but his cross goes right across the goalmouth with nobody there to meet the good cross/
No shots on goal to speak of at the moment although Galway seem to be on top with the home side camped in Wexford's half currently.
Corner kick from Conor McCOrmack just now but Jimmy Corcoran comes to collect the ball well in the middle of the box while under pressure.
Teams are out on the pitch but kick-off is slightly delayed here in Galway.
Galway United have their own form woes with John Caulfield's side having gone seven games without a home win.
The visitors to Galway tonight are looking to avoid their eighth defeat in a row with the side experiencing a major rough patch in their form
Wexford have rang the changes this week with four changes to their side AND a change in management. Brian O'SUllivan departed the club during the week after nearly three years in charge. Tom O'Connor et al have taken over in the interim and they've made four changes to the side that lost 5-0 to Cork CIty last weekend. Ross Treacy, Paul Cleary, Harry Groome and Kyle Robinson all drop out of the starting lineup. Jack Connolly, Kevin McEvoy, Charlie Smith and Jimmy Corcoran all come back into the side.
Lets look at some changes in the teams coming into tonight's fixture. First the home side: John Caulfield has made three changes to the side that lost 2-1 to Bray Wanderers last weekend with Gary Boylan, Padraic Cunnningham and Mikie Rowe all making starts tonight. David Hurley, Mikey Place and Chris Horgan all drop to the bench.
