Big three points here for Cobh as they get their season up and running.
Four minutes to be played here
Flick on from a corner by Jack Doherty and headed home by Kyle Robinson. Hope for Wexford?
Edogun receives a long-ball up to him. He takes it well before swivelling and shooting. His shot is less successful though as it is deflected out
Hold up in play due to a player down injured. Could be cramp
Less seen of Cobh as an offensive force in this period. Content to just sit in and let Wexford play in front of them. Willing to try and kill the game and waste time as with Kavanagh's latest booking.
Good reffing tonight. Has been decisive and fair with both sides.
Time is running out here for Wexford. A long ball is played up but Success Edogun is adjudged to have commited a foul. Seemed to be soft to me
Fox, and then Doherty, try their luck after a set-piece. It goes over in the end
Bounces around inside the Cobh area but eventually hacked clear
Wexford appeal for a penalty as Fox goes down under a challenge from Sean Barron. It is ruled to be legitimate though
Shot from a tight angle by Fox goes wide. He did have options to try and find in the middle though
All for the home-side to do here at the moment. That second goal, just before the break, has really knocked them. Credit to the young striker Cooper though. He intercepted the ball on the left-hand side before cutting in and unleashing a shot into the bottom corner. The away side in charge
Cobh threaten from a corner but Corcoran is able to take it safely on this occasion.
Kavanagh is the latest to try his luck from distance after Griffin just before. Both are off-target
Wexford are suddenly provided an opening as the ball slips through to Jack Doherty. Darry Walsh is able to apply enough pressure on him to make him slice it wide
Deep cross from John Kavanagh sees a decent header by Griffin. It is just wide though.
Real pressure whenever Wexford try to play it out from the back.
Wexford do come but cleared away by Cian Murphy
Wexford yet to really get into the game so far and it is all down to the pressure Cobh have put them under. They applied themselves well away to Cork City, but not nothing in the end. They would be hopeful here though
The positive start has been rewarded for the away side. Corcoran will not wish to relive that as he was robbed by Griffin and the striker got it past him. His second goal of the season
Cobh win a free-kick just outside the area. Ian Turner fancies his chances and has a bullet effort on target. Corcoran is just about able to tip it over.
Cobh give debuts to Killian Cooper and Chris O' Reilly. A first start of the season for Ben O' Riordan also.
Wexford welcome back Alex O' Hanlon and Harry Groome into the side.
Both sides will be aiming to pick up their first victory of the season. Wexford were unlucky to go down late to Shelbourne last time out, while Cobh secured their first point in the draw with Treaty United.
Good evening and welcome to Ferrycarrig Park. Philip Morrissey here giving you the updates from tonight's encounter between Cobh Ramblers and Wexford FC. Kick-off in about ten minutes.
