The game ends in stalemate, a 0-0 draw , very scrappy in the first half, a little better in the second period but neither side did enough to warrant the three points.
Apart from a few half chances for both teams, there were few clear cut chances created by either team over the course of the 90 minutes.
A point apiece at least will keep both teams in contention for one of the top four positions.

Great header by O' Reilly from a corner, crashes off bar and is cleared - probably the best chance of the game so far
Quick break by Drogheda, Markey very much central to it but the final pass into the box is cleared

A bit more urgency from both sides in the second half but still no penetration in the final third from either side.

Sligo show four changes from their 2-1 defeat to Derry City last weekend. Andre Wright makes his debut and Robbie McCourt, David Cawley and Ryan de Vries also start . They replace Mark Byrne, Colm Horgan, Johnny Kenny and the departed Jordan Gibson.
One change on the starting eleven for Drogheda tonight, Luke Heeney comes in for the suspended Gary Deegan
Just prior to the match, Drogheda announced the signing of Ahu Obhakhan from Institute. He joins the clubs other two recent signings Joe Redmond and Kaleem Simon, we await their team sheet to see if they have made the match day squad
