Dundalk have a free
Dan Kelly looks to be away on the left with a chance to potentially put this game to bed if he can bear in on goal or thread it through to Duffy free on the other side, but he just can't get the ball down to feet in time and Harps regroup. Kelly gets it down and tries to get round Boyle, but the moment has passed and he ends up playing it backwards.
Five added minutes announced. Dundalk haven't produced very much in the last half hour and while Harps haven't been great, they are potentially a kick of the ball away from a draw. It would be a real sucker punch for the Railwaymen to let this one slip after their dominance in the first half.
Both teams making a few subs now, Harps could nick a point here if Dundalk aren't focused.
Sean Boyd - Mark Coyle (Finn Harps). That's a second forced sub for Harps, Coyle limps off.
David McMillian almost grabbed his second. He's played through, one on one, with the 'keeper, but with limited time to react. He gets his shot away and it's saved by McGinley. But despite McGinley's fine save, it bounces off the onrushing McMillian again and nearly creeps in anyway but for the vigilance of Ethan Boyle.
Tunde Owolabi, introduced as a substitute, looked to have gotten away with space on the left, but the linesman's flag is up for a throw in.
I, er, hit the wrong button just now. Apologies for those that thought we were going to have a little mid-half penalty shoot-out! The rules have not changed.
Tunde Owolabi - Adam Foley (Finn Harps). It would seem Foley is not fit to continue after straining to get to a ball. He's looked sharp in patches and ecked out a few chances for himself this half, that's a blow to Harps.
Adam Foley latches onto a through ball into the Dundalk box, he stretches to try and chip the ball over Abibi in goals, but Abibi beats it away. Foley looks to have hurt himself in the process. The physio will get a chance to evaluate during the waterbreak.
Okay, it's Harps coming to life here this past five minutes. Barry McNamee plays a weighed ball into the Dundalk box, which causes a bit of confusion between Boyle and Abibi. Adam Foley nearly gets a shot away from close range as a result, but Boyle blocks.
O'Sullivan again makes a nuisance of himself on the right, Leahy blocks his cross this time and in the ensuing scramble for the ball, the ref adjudged a goal kick.
Karl O' Sullivan is played through by Ethan Boyle. He does well to get his cross past Leahy, who is in close attention, it's hit low into the six yard box with plenty of pace and turned out for a corner by Sonni Nattestad.
It's fair to say there hasn't been the same intensity from Dundalk, or indeed either side, this half. The heat may be a factor. Dundalk not turning the screw quite as much, which is allowing Harps more of the ball in patches.
Kos Sadiki was down for a few minutes just now which has also contributed to a bit of a lull. He'll be okay to continue. Both sets of players taking an opportunity to get water on board.
Ollie Horgan is asking the 4th officaial to enlighten him to some aspects of the rules of the game. He needs to be careful after that caution he has already received.
Ethan Boyle has had two throws deep in the Dundalk half. Both have found the box. Both have been cleared.
Duffy playes a cross field ball to Jurkovskis who takes it down, but not remarkably well. He gets a bit of luck when it bobbles out after a blue shirt and wins his side a corner. Dundalk can't fabricate a chance from the corner though.
Dundalk have a free on the edge of ther visitor's box. Will Patching is the one standing over it. He hits it well enought but it deflects off the wall and out for a corner.
Ollie Horgan has been booked for verbals from the sideline.
Dundalk don't seem in a rush to take the resulting corner.
Three extra minutes added to this first half.
A stray bounce almost let Foley away, with acres of space in front of him. Andy Boyle's bodycheck is what stopped him. The centre-back lucky to get away with that.
Harps with a free on the edge of the box. A tad too far to shoot, bar a wonderstrike. It's whipped in and Kos Sadiki and Sonni Nattestad have a duel to get there first. I'm unsure which of them manages to nudge it goalwards, before Abibi gathers.
Now would be a good day for Dundalk to announce an official sunscreen partner. Weather update, still very warm. The mercury says 28', it was 30' at kick off. There is a slight breeze blowing infrequently.
David McMillan (Dundalk) scores. Raivis Jurkovskis' effort from close range is well saved by the netminder, but it spills to David McMillian who makes no mistake from close range. A poacher's goal. Dundalk take a deserved lead shortly after the half hour mark.
Jordan Mustoe stops a through ball with his hand and Dundalk get a free kick. He's very lucky not to get a card for that. From the resulting free near the edge of the box, Dundalk attempt a training ground lob over the wall to Duffy, but it's not very effective. And by that I mean it's easily cleared.
Leahy crosses from the left and Jurkovkis gets on the end of it on the edge of the six yard box, but it isn't a great header. That was another good chance for the Lilywhites.
Boyle makes an important interception stop Adam Foley going through 1V1 with Abibi. Dundalk have been very much dominant here, but Harp will haver chances. Concentration needed from the home side, the visitors thrive on defending slender leads.
The teams are both over at the dugouts now getting water on board. It will be much needed in that heat. Dundalk are first to return to positions, the away side are huddled together getting some top-up interim instructions.
McMillian heads once more from a corner and it's narrowly wide, Jurkovskis was at the back post and might not have realised he could have redirected it home.
Sonni Nattestad slides to try and improvise a finish to a low cross, he connects with it but it bobbles wide. I think that would have been offside anyway.
An interesting dual between Adam Foley and Patrick McEleney there. McEleney showing off his skill to frustrate the Harps' player in a merry dance that starts in the center circle and finishes up in the home side's right back position. McEleney keeps the ball. I'm not sure who will be happier with how that turned out.
The Harp's goal is leading a charmed life now. Duffy crosses from the endline and Dan Kelly was a foot away from converting at close range with Mark Mc Ginley at sea.
So close for Dundalk! A corner from Duffy comes off the side of McMillian's head and hits the post. The danger doesn't end there and it's pinged around the box, yielding a second corner. This time around the Harps' defenders clear their lines.
Duffy takes the ball down beautifully in the box but his underhit pass back to Leahy, takes the sting out of the move and Harps hoke it clear.
David Webster (Finn Harps) is booked. Webster makes a professional foul, tripping a Dundalk player as the home side breaks.
Again, Dundalk make headway down the right and a shooting chance is squared for Patching but he just doesn't make the connection he'd have liked and pings that one over.
Kelly and Jurkoviskis combine well on the right with Kelly getting a cross in, which finds the magnetic head of McMillian, who has two taller players standing either side of him. That effort is over.
Dundalk kick off and are quickly hounded by blue shirts, forcing Dan Kelly to go back to the 'keeper. Last time out, Dundalk make the grave mistake of letting Harps get an early goal. Harps ran out 1-2 winner on that visit.
