There will be three minutes of additional time
Jordan Gibson deservedly awarded tonight's Man of the Match
Waterford are getting their chances. Mascoill delivers another very good ball into the box, the cross flicks off Murphy on it's way to goal but McGinty collects with confidence
Great chance for Waterford to leve the game. Molloy drills a quick ball right across the box towards Murphy. Murphy isn't quick enough and the ball flys past him and away from danger. A good chance for Waterford
Ryan De Vries (in) - Johnny Kenny (out) (Sligo Rovers). Kenny was quiet enough tonight. Hit the post with an effort early on in the first half but was quiet overall.
Gibson has another great effort but this time it is blocked away from danger. Sligo are enjoying plenty of possession as the game enters the closing stages
Figuiera tries to find Morahan with a threaded pass into the box but the pass is too heavy and Murphy comes out to collect
Jordan Gibson (Sligo Rovers) scores. What a finish!! Gibson cuts inside on his left just on the edge of the box and unleashes an unstoppable shot into the top corner of the net. No stoppin that for Murphy!
Parkes with a scuffed effort towards goal but Murphy watches it trickle well wide in the end
Gibson with a good free kick swung in towards goal but Murphy saves well and comfortably
It is half-time between Waterford and Sligo Rovers.
Entertaining game so far betwee these two sides. Waterford a lot better than they were last weekend with Kavanagh heading them in from after just five minutes.
Sligo responded well after conceding and Romeo Parkes showed brilliant technique to smash a volley home from close range past Murphy on thirty five minutes
Waite has been brilliant for Waterford. Parkes and Gibson on top for Sligo
McGinty is sharp as the first half draws to a close. Does well in the air ahead of Evans to avert the danger once more
Parkes with another brilliant chance!
He drives low to the goalkeepers right but Murphy shows all of his experience to save brilliantly at full stretch to his left
Romeo Parkes (Sligo Rovers) scores. Sligo are level!!
Jordan Gibson the architect and does brilliantly. He beats Mascoil with ease on the right and finds Parkes unmarked at the back of the box with a fantastic cross. Parkes shows great technique to meet the cross on the volley and powers the shot past Murphy in the Waterford goal.
A fantastic team goal from Sligo with brilliant skill on display from both Gibson and Parkes
Cameron Evans does brilliantly and shows great strength in the challenge against Figuera in the box to deny the Sligo man from getting any shot away at goal. Figuera not so sure about the challenge but the tackle is excellent and the right call made
Adam O'Reilly lucky not be booked there with a heavy challenge but the referee lets him away with a caution
Very enjoyable game so far here. Open game with Waterford shading it slightly in terms of chances and possession of the ball
Waterford should be two in front!!
Ed McGinty pulls of a superb double save. Shane Griffin hits a speculative effort from distance with McGinty saving but fumbling into the path of Kavanagh. Kavanagh is quick again but with the goal at his mercy is denied by McGinty who pulls off a fantastic save low down to keep the game at 1-0
Brilliant from McGinty
What a chance for Sligo! Johnny Kenny has no right to go so close but his header finds its way towards goal and cracks back off the post.
Sligo so close to finding an equaliser!
Cian Kavanagh (Waterford) scores. What a start to the game for Waterford.
A wonderful delivery from Mascoil once again. Kavanagh rises highest above Morahan and powers a bullet of a header past McGInty to put Waterford in front!
