BOHEMIANS
The Gypsies face the big ask of looking for a first win of the season against current Women’s National League Champions Peamount United on Saturday (kick-off 2pm).
Bohemians have lost all three of their games so far this season and suffered defeat twice last week alone.
On Saturday last, Galway defeated the newcomers to the League 4-1 at the Oscar Traynor Centre and on Wednesday evening they lost 3-0 to Shelbourne at Tolka Park.
Having faced Wexford on the opening day of the season, Saturday will hopefully see the toughest challenges over with for Sean Byrne’s side, at least for the time being.
PEAMOUNT UNITED
United come into this game with two wins from two and they’ll be looking to keep that perfect record and maintain the pressure on the teams at the top of the table.
Peamount travelled to Cork last weekend and saw off Cork City 3-0 with all the goals coming in the first half from Stephanie Roche, Aine O’Gorman and Eleanor Ryan Doyle.
James O’Callaghan’s side come into Saturday’s game with the added benefit of a having not played in a week after their game against DLR Waves was postponed on Wednesday.
With Bohemians having played on Wednesday night, it could play a part in the outcome of Saturday’s game.
