A good win in the end for Bohs as their push for silverware continues, City will be happy with some aspects of their performance, however they really struggled to find any cutting edge. Bohs march on.

Allardice smashes the bar as he runs on to a Mandriou pull-back. The Scot's effort with his instep rattles the bar from 20 yards out, magnificent effort.
Mandriou wins and scores his own penalty. A Cork City corner led to a break away from Mandriou, his lightening quick speed resulted in City centre-half McLaughlin bringing him down inside the box. McLaughlin recieves a yellow as does Garry Buckley who gets a yellow for dissent.
Mandriou dribbles well through midfield before finding Lyons inside the box down the right before his attempted cross is blocked by McLaughlin. The young full-back Lyons has been excellent tonight in front of on-watching ireland U19 manager Tom Mohan.
Mandriou has an excellent effort from a free-kick 27 yards from goal which goes to just the left of Ryans's post. The resulting corner finds the ever-bright Tierney who's effort is well saved from Ryan once again.
It didn't take long for Daire O'Connor to make an impact as his strike whistles across the face of goal. City starting to push now.
Rainsford smashes the crossbar from 22 yards out after some neat City play found the no.7 on the edge of the box. His right-footed shot left Talbot with no chance as the crossbar still rattles.
