There will be four minutes of added time
UCD are almost there now.... Waterford fans are still here to their credit it must be said
Much to ponder for Waterford this evening. UCD have been brilliant, Waterford, not so muuch...
McClelland shhots straight at Connor from long range. Easy pickings for the Blues 'keeper
Sean McDonald scores for UCD.
McDonald fires UVCD three up with his first touch of the game! McDonald gets on the end of a short back pass, rounds the keeper to put UCD 4-1 up! That should be that...
Timmy Molloy has been quite impressive doing all of the donkey work in the UCD midfield. Both himself and O'Neill have been exceptional
515 are in attendance this evening here in Belfield.
Collins and Drinan have a coming together which comes to nothing. Not much in it at all
Drinan almost finds the net through a knock down but it goes well wide. It is pouring down now in Belfield...
Waterford's fans are starting to murmur noises of frustration now. UCD are well on top
Twine sees his shot blocked by Josh Collins. Good defending from UCD there
Richie O'Farrell scores for UCD.
And it's a third for UCD! O'Farrell's glancing header from a Gary O'Neill corner goes past a helpless Matthew Connor. Not good from the Blues one bit...
It is half-time between UCD and Waterford.
What a half that was. Serious entertainment on offer, and that's only the first period. Will the second continue in the same vein?
Mahdy hits the post! Farrugia goes on a lovely run and feeds in Mahdy who turns, swivels, and hits the post! So close for a third for UCD...
Waterford are sensing blood here now. UCD need to get back in control
Scott Twine scores for Waterford.
And just like that Waterford are back in it... Drinan goes on a lovely drive before forcing a save from Kearns. Kearns parries the ball into the path of Twine who finished with no problem whatsoever. Game on!
Better from Waterford now, much much better from Alan Reynolds side
Elbouzedi hits the post! Lynch finds Twine who knocks the ball onto Elbouzedi who hits the post!
McClelland forces a good save from Connor...
Waterford are looking all over the place now. What a spell from the Students!
Yousef Mahdy scores for UCD.
2-0 UCD!!!! O'Neill with a lovely free-kick which crashes off the crossbar as Mahdy heads in the rebound. Waterford have it all to do here now....
Gary O'Neill scores for UCD from the penalty spot.
1-0 UCD! O'Neill is taken down in the box by Delaney after Mahdy disposessed Kougoun. O'Neill sends Connor the wrong way as UCD take the lead
Plenty of sand on the pitch here this evening. Conditions are far from ideal for both sides unfortunately
Twine and Drinan link up well as Waterford move up the pitch. Still scoreless despite the early excitement
Scott Twine fires wide but it was never troubling Kearns
Tobin looks to relase McClelland but Delaney reads the danger very well. Good defending from the ex-Cork centre back
Healthy enough crowd in attendance here at Belfield this evening. Would say about 400 are packed into the stand here tonight
Tobin fires back straight away but Connor beats the shot away before O'Farrell misses the rebound. End to end stuff here!
JJ Lunney goes very close for Waterford but his dipping volley just goes over. Good start here from the Blues
UCD are in all white while Waterford are in their yellow strip
And the teams are on theri way out!! Kick-off is on its way very soon....

This will be the sides’ first meeting in the Premier Division for the first time since 2007 with the Students coming on top on that occasion with a 2-1 win at Belfield Park.
Former Republic of Ireland striker Conor Sammon and current Shelbourne winger Conan Byrne secured all three points for Pete Mahon’s side on that occasion as Waterford eventually succumbed to relegation via the Playoffs that year.
