Aaron Green almost makes it two for Shamrock Rovers weaving past the Sligo defence and shooting low to Beeneys right but he does well to tip it away for a corner
Daniel Carr scores for Shamrock Rovers. The home side finally find a breakthrough. Jack Byrne swings a corner deep into the box. It may have taken a touch on it's way through but it finds it's way to Dan Carr at the back post who sneaks in and fires the ball past Beeney to give Shamrock Rovers a deserved 1-0 lead.
Trevor Clarke finds himself completely free down the left wing, he goes on one of his roving runs past Morahan but Lewis Banks follows it all the way and clears away for a corner
Sligo to their credit are doing very well closing the home side down any time they get close to goal at all.

Sligo will be looking to make it three wins in three after securing all three points in their last two fixtures. Both wins against newly promoted sides UCD and Finn Harps.
Their last victory here in Tallaght Stadium was back in 2013.
Shamrock Rovers have responded well since their derby defeat to Bohs and will look to extend their unbeaten run to four since that result.
If results go their way this evening they could be five points clear at the top of the table by 10pm.
