The game has ended between Shamrock Rovers and Finn Harps. The Hoops couldn't add to their first half haul of three goals in the second half but ran out comfortable winners against Harps. The Hoops go top of the table on goal difference above Bohemians having played an extra game. They travel to Inchicore on Friday night to play St. Patrick's Athletic. Hoped you enjoyed the updates this evening. Dave Donnelly is doing our match report. If you are on Instagram check out our Instagram story which we've been updating all throught the evening. Two minutes of injury time at least.
Crowd beginning to drift to the exits and into their cars where the heating will be going full blast.
1,582 is tonight's attendance.
Dan Carr is fouled outside the box and Sean Kavanagh sends a "knuckle ball" free kick over the wall but Peter Burke steps to his left to gather at the first attempt.
Nice one-two between Dylan Watts and Brandon Kavanagh allows Watts in on goal but his effort is weak.
Ollie Horgan sent to the stands. His assistant Paul Hegarty is not in the dugout as he is serving a three match ban.
Brandon Kavanagh's shot almost slips through Peter Burke grasp and over the line.
Double sub coming for Rovers with Joey O'Brien and Orhan Vojic about to come on.
Aaron Greene hits the cross bar with a shot after a delicious centre from Dan Carr who ran from half way on the left. Greene looked across to the assistatn ref as it looked like it might have bounced over the line.
Mark Russell replaces Nathan Boyle for Finn Harps as Boyle had just picked up the first yellow card of the game.
Rovers dominating possession moving the ball with Dylan Watts the latest to try his luck from distance.
Jack Byrne has moved to a more central role with Brandon Kavanagh wide right.
Four Rovers players are wearing long sleeve base layers below short sleeved jersies. Harps meanwhile are made of hardy stuff - they are all just wearing short sleeved kit.
Aaron Greene scores for Shamrock Rovers after running onto a through ball and from an acute angle driving the ball low by Peter Burke.
Another two more minutes even after that injury stoppage.
Gareth Harkin has gone down and he will need to come off.
So cold in Tallaght both assistant refs are wearing leggins below their shorts. Yr.no tells me it is 3 degrees but feels like -2!
The Hoops have a two goal cushion that puts them top of the "in-running" league table above Bohs on goals scored.
Super save from Peter Burke to push Dylan Watts' effort from 25 yards behind for a corner. When that set piece came to Aaron McEneff only John Kavanagh's brave header stopped that one hitting the target.
Dylan Watts scores for Shamrock Rovers from outside the area when he couldn't score from the peno spot a bit earlier. A Gareth Harkin pass to Harry Ascoft put the defender under pressure and Dan Carr robbed the ball to play in Watts. His right foot effort found the bottom left corner of the net.
Aaron McEneff with another long range shot which drops just wide of Peter Burke's right hand post.

Dylan Watts misses for Shamrock Rovers from the penalty spot after Gareth Harkin had left a boot in a position to trip Aaron McEneff. McEneff picked the ball up but handed it to Dylan Watts who is Rovers' peno taker. When Watts was off the pitch against Derry, McEneff took and scored the peno. Watts skies this one. He scored two for the Hoops last season.
Dylan Watts lets fly from 30 yards and Peter Burke back peddles but the ball goes over.
Shamrock Rovers love the Monday fixtures it seems.
Nice run by Daniel O'Reilly and he wraps the outside of his left foot on the ball but can't keep it on target to trouble Alan Mannus.

Roberto Lopes scores for Shamrock Rovers as he is on hand to tap home an Aaron McEneff shot that Peter Burke couldn't hold onto. The goal came from a corner on the right won by Sam Bone. Sean Kavanagh worked a short one-two corner with Jack Byrne who centred to McEneff for his shot.
Dan Carr finds some space wide on the left and gets a shot away that Peter Burke saves.
4-2-3-1 for Harps. Jacob Borg and Gareth Harkin are holding in front of the back four. Mikey Place is leading the line on his own with Nathan Boyle in behind him and Caolan McAleer on the right and Niall McGinley on the left.
Caolan McAleer lets loose from the edge of the box and forces Alan Mannus into a save.
Looks 4-1-4-1 for Rovers with Sean Kavanagh left back and Sam Bone on the right. Greg Bolger is holding in front of back four. Jack Byrne and Dan Carr are wide and Aaron Greene up top.
Lee Grace will captain Rovers while Gareth Harkin has the Harps armband. Ben Connolly is our referee.
Busy press box this evening as this is the only league game of the evening. Harps looking for their first win of the season while a win by two goals or more will send Shamrock Rovers top.
