Galway having a few half efforts but it's too little too late here.
Daryl Horgan skipped inside Ryan Connolly, Folan and brother Colm to set up David Mc Millan but his low effort was stopped by Winn. Electric play by the winger!
This game has had no real flow in the last few minutes due to the substitutions, tha ball is rattling around the field but there have been no real incidents of note.
Ciarán O'Connor has replaced Benson in an attacking midfield role and the youngster is in on the action straight away but shoots over from just inside the box.
Poynton is playing in an attacking midfield role- he's already playing right back and central midfield for the senior team this season.
Galway- Faherty is a direct swap for Cunningham up top while Melody is in the middle, replacing Sinnitt.
Dundalk- Barrett has stepped into the base of midfield with Gartland alonside Boyle in the centre of the defence

Ryan Connolly scores for Galway United FC. Scrappy goal as he seized upon slack Dundalk passing in their own box to fire home the rebound from 8 yards after Sava had saved his initial effort.
Almost a goal of the season contender for Dundalk as Barrett's long pass is backheeled by Benson into the path of Horgan but his cross is clawed away by Winn. Super by Benson and really appreciated by the home crowd.
Very slow start to the half as the ball is stuck in midfield- there's a real end of season feel about things here. (naturally enough I supppose!)
Stephen O'Donnnell is influential so far but no chances yet.
OFF THE LINE!
Boyle's towering heading from Benson's corner was headed off the line by Colm Horgan. Great defending!
Dean Shiels with his third Dundalk goal (2 tonight) Barrett with his third league goal of the season and Dundalk are cruising to a third league trophy lift in just over and hours time. It's been a bit of a procession so far- Galway have had chances, especially at nil nil but once the first goal went in the game has been mostly one way traffic.
Dean Shiels scores for Dundalk. Lovely football from the home side as Shiels picked up the ball in midfield, played a 1-2 with Benson on the edge of the box before clipping the ball past Winn right footed from 8 yards.
Galway are starting to move the ball around in midfield until Sinnott's pocket is picked by Benson who surges forward but opts to pass instead of shoot when well placed in the box.
Great save from Winn to deflect Mc Millan's effort and Benson's rebound was deemed offside.
Sava tips a Folan header out of his top corner following a Connolly corner and then scrambles to hold the next corner.
Daryl Horgan heads a Gannon cross over the bar from 8 yards.
Dundalk very much on top here but Galway have had some success when pressing the home team.
Paddy Barrett scores for Dundalk. A similar type of strike to Benson's opener v Zenit last week as Barrett sized up a low 25 yarder which Winn got gloves to but couldn't prevent crossing the line.
Dundalk are just getting into their stride here as Daryl Horgan is starting to find space down the left.
McMillan flicks Benson's low corner goalwards from 8 yards but it strikes the base of the post and rebounds to safety.
Dean Shiels scores for Dundalk. A lovely passing move culminated in Kilduff setting up the onrushing Shiels who shot low right footed across Winn and into the bottom corner of the keeper's net from 12 yards.
Benson and Mc Millan linked up with some neat passing before the number unleashed a rocket which whizzed past Winn's fingertips as it crashed against the crossbar.
On the field, it's helter skelter stuff as both teams are chasing everything and the greasy ball is being pinged around.
Cunningham rolls Barrett but his shot is well held by Sava down to his right- a low 20 yard effort which lacked fizz.
Galway have Winn between the sticks, Cantwell (right) and Colm Horgan (left) with Folan and Aganovic in central defence. Shanahan (right) and Devaney (left) are on the flanks with Byrne and Sinnott in central midfield while Ryan Connolly romas behind Cunningham.
Dundalk have Sava in goals, Gannon (right) and Massey (left) on the flanks with O'Donnell and Benson in the centre of the park. Mc Millan (right) and Horgan (left) are on the wings with Dean Shiels playing behind Ciarán Kilduff.
