2307 braving the wind and rain here.
Yellow Card
Substitution
Substitution
Josh Honohan taps home at the back post but it is overruled by the fourth official. Given as a handball by either Honohan or Coleman. Cobh got lucky again.
Luke Desmond is the next to pull off a block to deny Bargary.
Fantastic save by Farron! Srbely puts in a decent cross from the left side which lands right on the head of Coleman. Point blank the Cobh net-minder tips it over. kept his side in the game
The goalscorer has another try after a pull-back into his path. It is deflected wide
GOAL!
Substitution
James O' Leary goes down holding his ankle after winning a free kick.
Flicked header by Murphy goes wide but given as a corner. It comes to nothing though.
Sean Barron gets a warning from the referee concerning his slow retreival of the ball.
Yellow Card
Plenty of pressing by Cobh every time City get on the ball. Not making it the most attractive of watches but the visitors will not care.
Substitution
SECOND HALF
HALF TIME
Bargary intercepts the ball just outside his own area and embarks on a run right down the centre. He runs out of space, and is blocked out before it becomes too much of a concern.
Big chance for City. Bargary again gets room to play in a cross. It is met by the head of O' Mahony who can only glance it wide.
Yellow Card
Matt Srbely has an effort from outside the box as a Bargary ball is only half-cleared. He is just wide.
Half a chance for City as Cian Bargary floats in a cross. O' Mahony is unable to make proper contact with it though
Sean McGrath has been decent so far given he just came into the side before kick-off. He has a go from outside the area. It is over the bar though.
The possession stats are probably quite high in favour of Cork City as it stands. They are not managing to carve out too many clear chances yet though
Not a whole lot of goal-mouth action at the moment. The weather isn't fabulous but Cobh are definitely coming here to stop Cork playing. Given their poor recent form, and the departure of Darren Murphy during the week, you could understand them
Kieran Coates plays a one-two with Bargary on the edge of the box and lets fly. Sean Barron is forced to make a decent save to tip it away.
O' Mahony's effort from a Kevin O' Connor corner takes a deflection and results in another one. The subsequent one sees Aaron Bolger have a go. It goes over the bar.
Cian Murphy tries his luck from just outside the box. It is always going over though
Patient build-up from the home side eventually leads to a ball in towards Mark O' Mahony. His first touch is not the best and Ben O' Riordan is able to see it out.
GAME ON!
Kick-off in the Cork derby is in a matter of minutes! Philip Morrissey here providing you with the updates for tonight.
