Thats it from Patrick O Connor at the Tallaght Stadium, hope you enjoyed the live updates !!!!
A thoroughly enjoyable game here at Tallaght Stadium and Harps will certainly be the happier of the two sides going back to Donegal with a well deserved point.
Rovers will not be pleased that their pre break poor form continues on the resumption and for them it is two points dropped rather than one poibnt gained.
6 mins added time
Rovers are now camped in the Harps half, they are throwing everything at them in search of a winner.
Rovers almost take the lead, they hit the post but the rebound is cleared, Harps living dangerously as they try to cling on to a draw.
Rovers now pressing Harps back into their own half , again a lot of intricate build up play but sometimes they overdo it, their fans are even beginning to get frustrated with their approach.
Rovers are trying to get back into the game but it is now their turn to be rattled, Harps are playing with a lot more confidence since that equaliser.
Great through ball by McNamee releases Foley and he beats Mannus at the near post, a goal their second half performance deserves
Much brighter start to this half by the visitors, they have pinned Rovers into their own half for the first 5 mins of this period.
Rovers are ahead at the break but would have expected to have at least another goal to reflect their early game dominance , they have passed the ball around well but lacked a bit of ruthlessness on occasions.
Harps were very poor in the first 15 mins, but as the game progressed they improved , forced a few corners and generally troubled Rovers mostly through a number of counter attacks.
As we approach half time , Rovers have failed to make their domination of possession count and Harps have contained them well as the game progressed.
Great shot from distance by Will Seymore tests Mannus but he gathers the ball at the second attempt.
Good move by Rovers almost gets Greene through on goal but a last ditch tackle from Webster averts the danger
Harps have settled down after the concession of that early goal and are now applyiing some pressure themselves, McNamee is infleuntial as usual in midfield
David Webster is down injured but is ok to continue after treatment.
With 20 mins gone here , Rovers are fully in control and stroking the ball around at will.It looks like it is only a matter of time before they get a second, they are also being aided by a strangely lethargic Harps , Ollie Horgan is certainly not pleased in their technical area.
Its all Rovers since that goal and Harps look rattled.
Shocking defending by Sadiki at the back gifts the ball to Gaffney who strides forward unopposed and lays it off for a simple tap in by Greene, he wont score an easier goal than that.
Rovers are playing into the setting sun which makes it particularly difficult for their defenders
Harps mount the first attack which yields a free kick but it comes to nothing
Its 15 minutes to kick off , a beautiful evening for football and the Rovers supporters behind one of the goals are in fine voice ever before the game starts, they certainly contribute a lot to the atmosphere in the stadium.
On team news, the Finn Harps line up has no surprises, they are at full strength and have named nine substitures tonight.
Rovers on the other hand are still missing Ronan Finn, Dylan Watts,Joey O Brien and Sean Kavanagh, as well as long term injury worry Neil Farrugia.
They have surprisingly left Graham Burke on the subs bench tonight and hand a starting berth to Max Murphy who looks like he will operate in a left wing back position.
Rovers have eight subs on the bench tonight.
Its fantastic to see a crowd back at a football match, albeit that the numbers are limited to 1,000 fans tonight. This is one of a number of pilots being trialled throughout the country , lets hope all goes well and that it will lead to a return of fans being allowed to attend at all LOI grounds.
