The game has ended between Shamrock Rovers and AC Milan. Full time and Milan deserved winners, but the gap in class wasn't huge and Rovers had chances, three alone for Aaron Greene, that could have tipped the balance in the opposite direction. Roberto Lopes, Ronan Finn and Jack Byrne top-class for the Hoops, but goals from Ibrahimovic and Calhanoglu win it for Milan.
Rovers still pushing and a lovely pirhouette from Watts ends in him shooting, but a deflection takes the sting out of it and Donnarumma saves easily.
There will be three minutes added on.
Wonderful goal-saving tackle from Lopes to deny Castillejo, following an incredible spin and through ball from Diaz.
Ronan Finn seems to have the beating of Theo every time, and this time his cross is turned behind for a corner by Kjaer.
Milan look to break quickly but Kessié's pass to Ibrahimovic is overhit.
Donnarumma is just a class operator, and he'll only get better now he's had the chance to learn from Alan Mannus.— Dave Donnelly (@YeSecondPost) September 17, 2020
Donnarumma is just a class operator, and he'll only get better now he's had the chance to learn from Alan Mannus.
Calabria has been tireless down the Milan right and he's had a couple of efforts saved by Mannus, the latest a low shot the keeper easily deals with.
Kjaer gives his goalkeeper a scare with an overhit backpass but, as ever, Donnarumma deals with it calmly.
Foul throw from Theo!
Another chance for Greene and probably the most difficult of the lot. Ronan Finn does brilliantly to get in down the right and cuts it inside for the striker, who tries to guide it first-time into the corner, but Donnarumma saves comfortably.
Immediately now you can see the pressure has lifted and Milan are playing with much more freedom and pace.
Hakan Calhanoglu (AC Milan) scores. And that should be that as Milan players line up on the edge of the box before, finally, Calhanoglu curls into the top corner. No chance for Mannus there.
And another abysmal decision sees Kessié barge Farrugia off the ball and play on, eventually ending with Saelemaekers forcing another Mannus save.
Ref with another questionable call as McEneff pulls out of a tackle but the free is given nonetheless.
Calhanoglu bends the ball beautifully from the free kick and Mannus has to touch it behind.
Free kick in the dangerous area as Lopes is penalised for a tough tackle on Ibrahimovic. Looks a very harsh call for a good tackle.
Nervy moments at the back for Rovers as a loose ball falls to Saelemakers but, once more, the Belgian miskicks and Rovers get out.
Some more lovely passing from Rovers, first Byrne to pick out Finn and then O'Brien to find Greene, and Rovers win a throw deep in the Milan half.
Zlatan is down injured after inadvertently fouling Joey O'Brien, but I think he'll be OK.
Milan hit the bar through a spectacular overhead kick from Calhanglu, before a firmly-struck effort from Calabria is turned nervously behind by Mannus.
Lovely spin on the ball from Theo to get out of bother as he was pressurised in the corner by Finn.
An early free kick for Rovers is whipped to the edge of the box by Byrne and headed on by Burke into the hands of Donnarumma.
We're back underway with the home time shooting into the south stand.
Not sure Jack Byrne rates Gabbia too highly. Every time the defender is on the ball he shouts "let him on it" to Greene and Burke.— Dave Donnelly (@YeSecondPost) September 17, 2020
Not sure Jack Byrne rates Gabbia too highly. Every time the defender is on the ball he shouts "let him on it" to Greene and Burke.
More good play from Rovers as it's spread from right to left, where Farrugia beats his man and whips in a deep cross. Finn looks set to score at the back post but unfortunately he heads straight at the keeper!
Probably should be 2-0 as the ball is cut back to Calabria but it's brilliantly blocked by Grace, before Ibrahimovic belts the loose ball over.
Byrner's deep cross finds the head of Grace but he's crowded out and can't get anything behind it.
Nice, sustained play from Rovers ends with Finn putting Burke in space, and his shot is charged down well. From the loose ball, Burke is fouled 30 yards out.
Half-chance for Milan as Ibrahimovic knocks the ball down for the arriving Calhanoglu, but he can't keep it down on the half-volley.
Ibrahimovic finds room down the right and plays across goal, where the ball is met by Hernandez, whose wonderfully-struck volleys looks destined for the corner only for Lopes to get in the way and clear.
Milan free kick from the right finds the head of Kjaer but the Dane can only glance past the post.
From the resulting corner, Byrne picks out the arriving Lopes who, though free of his man, can't get over the ball and heads over the bar. Half a chance again.
Another chance for Greene, and mostly of his own making, the striker taking O'Brien's pass down the line and outmuscling Gabbia before forcing Donnarumma to save at his near post.
Deflating though the concession of the goal may be, Rovers have responded well and continue to get on the ball.
Jack Byrne whips in a free kick from the right to a good position but Kjaer rises highest to head clear.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic (AC Milan) scores. And that's all it takes for them to hit you. Rovers caught out trying to play out from the back, Saelemaekers slips in Zlatan and the Swedish striker smashes the ball low into the corner - great finish.
More pressure but Rovers stand firm, Ibrahimovic's set-up for Castillejo to strike on goal but it's blocked by Joey O'Brien.
Better from Milan as they patiently build up around the box but Rovers have the bodies to get in the way of Ibrahimovic's cross and Theo's shot.
Good spell this for Rovers as they turn the ball over from a throw-in in the corner, and Greene's cross has to be dealt with by Kjaer.
First chance of the game goes to Rovers as Jack Byrne picks up a loose ball in midfield and runs into a huge gap. He's held up by Kessiébut manages to thread one through for Aaron Greene, and his low shot forces a save from Donnarumma. Half-chance but perhaps he was too wide to work the keeper any more/
Milan give away two cheap fouls in quick succession and the ref has a word with Sealemaekers, presumably for mouthing off.
Calhanoglu plays a free kick deep into the box and Ibrahimovic gets his head on it. but he can't get around the ball. Rovers players reckon he was offside.
Rovers have seen little of the ball but they're starting to settle into this game and deny space to the Italians, who have been sloppy in their passing on a few occasions.
A first oppoprtunity for Rovers to press high as Milan play themselves in trouble with some loose passing, but Donnarumma manages to find an out ball and they recover calmly.
Calabria attempts to slide Ibrahimovic in down the right but it's overhit once more.
Milan are moving the ball quickly and finding space but, on this occasion, Ibrahimovic's deep cross is overhit and goes out for a goal kick.
Corner Milan as Lopes is forced to deal with an Ibrahimovic pass by putting it behind. Rovers looking a little shaky early doors. The corner, howeber, is cleared.
A half-chance falls to Milan's Alexis Saelemakers as a gap opens in the Rovers defence, but he slices it and Rovers clear.
And we're underway here in Tallaght, with Rovers playing into the Square end of the stadium and giving up possession immediately.

Good evening from a very sunny Tallaght Stadium. We have Macdara Ferris doing the match report and Michael Ryan is taking photos this evening. The press box is over in the far stand and the pitch is looking excellent for the visit of seven time European Cup winners AC Milan to Tallaght to take on Shamrock Rovers in this second qualifying round of the Europa League.
