Extratime Bets - Week 11

After a glorious start I have withered away almost all my profit and I'm now left with just a solid €10.

But I'm willing to dig deeper into my pockets because ATHLONE TOWN will beat Mervue on Friday night.

Athlone are a team on the up and after an impressive win away to Finn Harps last weekend I can seem them continuing their good form at home in Lisseywollen.

Town are by no means going to win many games this season but they are good enough right now to comfortably dispatch of Galway side Mervue.

Athlone have beaten Mervue in the last five encounters between the sides, including all three last season and the first meeting this season back in March when they won 1-0.

Meruve have played five games on the road this season and have only managed to pick up a single point, and that was against fellow relegation strugglers SD Galway.

Johnny Glynn's side have also shipped 14 goals on their travels too and I will be shocked if they add to their one away point on Friday night, especially as they are missing five first team players.
