LSL Senior Sunday: Bangor Celtic continue strong start while Kilbarrack United brush past Usher Celtic
Bangor Celtic picked apart Leinster Senior Cup semi-finalists Maynooth Town with a 3-0 triumph in the LSL top-flight.
John Scott’s side propelled themselves up to third in the table and have now claimed three victories from their first five outings of the campaign.
And they did just that with three different scorers against Maynooth.
Conor Delahunty’s own-goal handed the Dublin 8 side an early lead, while further strikes from League of Ireland stalwart Derek Prendergast and Charlie Smith sealed the deal.

But they remain well behind leaders Kilbarrack United who thumped Usher Celtic 6-2 at Greendale Road on Friday night.
Both teams have enjoyed impressive starts to the season though it was Kilbarrack who enjoyed the better of this one.
Jimmy McHugh - previously of Usher - scored a hat-trick against his former side while ex-Home Farm man Shane Lyons grabbed a brace.
Eoghan Hampson also netted for Ross Carrig’s troops, with Gary Gannon and Adam McMahon on target for Usher Celtic.
Meanwhile, Lucan United’s stop-start beginning to the campaign continued with a 2-2 draw against Bluebell United.
Jamie Doyle and Danny Mhondiwa both netted for Keith Baker’s men.
But the champions were denied all three points after goals from Joshua Ojelabi and Marco Chindea for the Bell.
Tolka Rovers saw off Malahide United 2-1 at Gannon Park with Dean Paget and Phillip Gannon both netting for the Frank Cooke Park outfit. Gareth Craven scored for Malahide.
