Middlesbrough has confirmed the signing of 20-year-old Terrell Agyemang on a two-year contract.

The London-born player, of Ghanaian descent, will officially become a Middlesbrough player when his current contract with Manchester City ends this June.

Agyemang joined Manchester City last September after a successful trial spell. He made 13 appearances for the club's Under-21s during the previous season.

He is capable of playing both in midfield and at the back.

Before joining Manchester City, Agyemang was part of Charlton's Academy, which he left at the end of the 2021/22 season.
