Zlatan Ibrahimovic has called time on an incredible 24 year trophy laden career.

The 41-year-old striker, who most recently has spent three seasons at Milan winning the Scudetto last season, announced his retirement on Sunday evening after Milan's 3-1 win over Verona at the San Siro.

The Swedish star began his career in the last century at Malmo before moving across the continent to play for some of the biggest clubs in the European game including Ajax, Juventus, Inter Milan, Barcelona, PSG, Manchester United, and two spells at Milan.

He scored 511 career goals and won multiple league titles in four countries (Ajax, Inter, Milan and PSG – plus two titles at Juventus lost after the Calciopolic scandal).

He is is Sweden’s all-time top scorer in the men’s game with 62 goals from 122 matches.
