Bradford City have moved to extend the contract of Irish goalkeeper Colin Doyle for an additional year.

As well as maintaining his place on the team, Doyle will continue in his dual capacity as the club's goalkeeping coach.

Doyle, a seasoned professional at 37, didn't feature as a starting player in the 2022/23 League Two season, with Harry Lewis taking the role as the primary goalkeeper.

Having initially signed with Bradford City in 2016 for a two-season stint, Doyle re-joined the club in 2022 for his second spell.

Dara Costelloe, a former Galway United forward, who joined Bradford City on a loan deal, will return to his parent club, Burnley, as his loan term comes to an end.

Finally, Bradford City confirmed that Irish players Emmanuel Osadebe and Ciaran Kelly remain under contract with the club.
