Shelbourne 'cancel' ticket orders made by Bohemians fans ahead of derby clash for home areas of Tolka Park

Shelbourne have confirmed that they have cancelled 'a number' of ticket orders ahead of their derby clash against Bohemians at Tolka Park on Friday night.

Earlier this week reports emerged that a sizeable contingent of away supporters had purchased tickets in the home areas of the ground.

Tickets were taken off sale online as a result – with the game now officially sold out.

Bohemians sold out their initial away allocation of 850 tickets within minutes after they went on sale.

And in a statement issued on Thursday evening, the Reds confirmed they have cancelled a ‘number’ of ticket orders for the game by away supporters.

“Friday’s game is now sold out,” a club statement read. “Home supporters can approach Tolka Park from Richmond Road.

“Please do not come to the ground without a ticket as none will be available for sale…

“Bohemian FC supporters are reminded that they must hold a valid away ticket to gain admittance.

“Shelbourne FC have cancelled a number of ticket orders for home sections made by away fans.

“Any away fan who is identified with a home ticket outside of the ground will not be permitted entry to the ground.

“For the safety and comfort of all spectators Garda and stadium security will proactively monitor the situation to ensure a safe environment for all fans.”
