LOI transfer wrap: Galway United snap up former Wolves youth as Waterford add finishing touches to squad

First Division promotion hunters Galway United have confirmed the signing of former Wolves youth Ibrahim Keita ahead of the 2023 season.
Keita, 27, is also a France Under-16 international and has previous history playing in the League of Ireland with Finn Harps during the 2017 season.
The striker has also played in Greece, Slovakia and Czech Republic.
He said: “I'm absolutely delighted to be joining Galway and the team. I've been here for two weeks now.

“I'm really appreciating my teammates, the coaching staff and the environment I'm in right now.
“I've heard the fans are really, really good, I'm looking forward to giving them some great moments to cheer.”
And their First Division title rivals Waterford have unveiled the signing of Huddersfield Town youngster Charles Ondo on a loan deal.
Ondo, 19, is from Spain and has impressed when coming through the ranks with the Terriers. He can also be used as a central defender and forward player.
Waterford Technical Director Jon Walters said: “We are delighted to sign Charles, and that a Championship side is trusting us with one of their young talents on loan.

Elsewhere in the First Division, Wexford have confirmed the double signing of Reece Webb and Charlie Heffernan.
Webb, 19, is a full-back by trade and has impressed for James Keddy’s side during pre-season – and Heffernan is a goalkeeper who was previously playing for North End United.

Meanwhile, Longford Town have signed Mohamed Boudiaf from Leinster Senior League outfit Glebe North.
And Longford’s local rivals Athlone have confirmed the double signing of Josh McGlone (Bray Wanderers) and Gavin Gilmore (Shamrock Rovers Under-19).

The 20-year-old winger joins from LSL side Glebe North, having previously been with Newry City & Drogheda United.
