Mikey Raggett joins UCD from Shamrock Rovers

UCD have swooped to land the services of Mikey Raggett from Shamrock Rovers.
The Students have been busy adding to their squad with Adam Wells and Brendan Barr joining Andy Myler’s young guns.
And extratime.com understand they have now secured the signing of Raggett from the Hoops ahead of the 2023 campaign.
Raggett, 18, is from Kilkenny and is an Ireland Under-18 Schools international – and has played alongside UCD striker Lennon Gill at the age group.
Previously of Wexford, Raggett joined Rovers in 2021 and lined out for their Under-19 side.
While at Tallaght Stadium, the Kilkenny played for the Hoops in the Uefa Youth League last season, as they fell to a two-legged defeat against Dutch giants AZ Alkmaar.
UCD begin their 2023 Premier Division on February 17th with an away trip to Dundalk.
They are also in action on Saturday against Shamrock Rovers in the Leinster Senior Cup. Kick-off at the UCD Bowl is at 3pm.
