LOI transfer wrap: Harps unveil new keeper as Kerry add to ranks

First Division Finn Harps have snapped up the services of goalkeeper Tim Hiemer ahead of the 2023 campaign.

Harps have been active in the transfer window thus far, and have already added Michael Harris and Seamas Keogh to their ranks.

And after signing, the former Borussia Monchengladbach stopper said: “Today is a very proud moment for me and my family as I join Finn Harps FC.

“The moment I met Dave (Rogers) and he outlined his vision of where he aims to develop and grow Finn Harps.

“Plus his experience and knowledge as a manager, and the quality of the staff and players who are already here, I had no hesitation in signing a two-year contract.”

Meanwhile, Kerry added to their ranks with their fourth signing of the season.

Croatian striker Trpimir Vrljicak is the fourth player to commit to Billy Dennehy’s side ahead of the 2023 season.

Also in the First Division, Treaty United have sealed the signing of former Athlone Town and Shamrock Rovers youngster Andy Spain.

Spain was most recently on the books of Athlone Town after ending his stay at Shamrock Rovers following his graduation to senior football.

O’Leary re-joins Shane Keegan’s side off the back of a disappointing 2022 campaign at St Colman’s Park.
