Wexford sign Jordan Adeyemo as Conor Levingston joins

Wexford’s manager James Keddy has announced his latest new signings ahead of the 2023 season – signing Jordan Adeyemo.

They had an inconsistent season last year and fell just short of the play-off spots.

But it is shaping up to be an extremely competitive First Division for next year.

This signing provides that. The 22-year-old scored 9 goals in thirteen appearances for Longford after moving there mid-season.

He was a major part in their promotion charge and netted twice in the semi-final against Galway. He previously featured for Galway United and Drogheda United.

The striker will be among many familiar faces as five ex-Longford players have signed with the Purple and Gold.

The man who signed him was also in charge whilst he featured for the Ferrycarrig side.

The club have stated that they expect to announce more new arrivals and re-signings in the coming days as they aim to return to the Premier Division.

And that they have with brothers Conor and Darragh Levingston joining the club for the season ahead.

Conor links up with his hometown club after a prior stint with Bohemians in the Premier Division, while Darragh re-signs after joining from Bray in the summer months.
