Shelbourne have announced the departure of five players from their 2022 senior squad.

In the aftermath of a season that saw the Reds reach the final of the FAI Cup and finish seventh in the Premier Division table, manager Damien Duff has already begun preparations for next year’s campaign.

One of the side that started against Derry City at the Aviva Stadium last Sunday will not be part of Shelbourne’s 2023 squad with goalkeeper Brendan Clarke departing the club.

Four others, Aaron O'Driscoll, Josh Giurgi, Dan Hawkins and the much traveled Dan Carr, have also moved on from Tolka Park.
