Galway re-sign Ireland under-19 international duo Shauna Brennan and Kate Slevin

Galway WFC have announced the re-signing of Republic of Ireland under 19 internationals Shauna Brennan and Kate Slevin ahead of the 2022 Women’s National League season.

The pair began their careers with the Tribeswomen and were part of the Galway under 17 side that won the league and cup double in 2019.

They were then part of the under 19 side that won the league and cup double in 2021.

Both players made their senior debuts for Galway during the 2020 season with Brennan being named on the WNL Team of the Year that season impressing at right back for the Tribeswomen.

Slevin and Brennan scored two goals each in 2021 as they helped Galway to a fifth place finish in the WNL.

The Tribeswomen begin their season with a trip to Cork City on Saturday, 5 March.
