DLR Waves sign Mia Dodd from WNL Champions Shelbourne

DLR Waves have announced the signing of Mia Dodd from Shelbourne ahead of the 2022 Women’s National League campaign.

Dodd had been at Tolka Park since 2019 when she was part of the Reds inaugural under 17 squad.

The defender scored once during last year’s WNL in a 7-2 win over Treaty United as Shels went on to lift the League title for the first time since 2016.

Dodd is the second signing for the club this week with Oleta Griffin re-signing with Waves for the 2022 season on Sunday.

Waves begin their WNL campaign at home to Treaty United on Saturday, 5 March.
