Finn Harps have announced the re-signing of Ryan Connolly ahead of next year’s League of Ireland campaign.

The Mayo native is heading into his third season at Finn Park with Connolly making 20 appearances for the Donegal club in 2021.

“It’s great to have things sorted so soon after the season and I’m just buzzing to get back to it now,” Connolly told the club’s website.

“I had a bit of a tough time with injuries last season but hopefully the worst of it is behind me now and I can hit the ground running and have a good campaign.

“We’d a really good group last year so if we can keep the most of it together we’ll be in good shape.”

The news of the 29 year old securing a new deal with Harps comes shortly after the announcement that club captain David Webster has also committed to Ollie Horgan’s side for the 2022 campaign which came earlier on Sunday.
