Barry McNamee re-signs for Finn Harps

Finn Harps have confirmed the re-signing of Barry McNamee for the 2022 season.

McNamee is entering his third season at Finn Park having signed for the club for the 2020 season from rivals Derry City.

“I’m really enjoying my football here at Finn Park and I’m glad to be back,” McNamee said, speaking to the club’s website.

“We maybe felt we could have kicked on a bit more last season so hopefully we’ll be able to keep the core of the group together and go again in 2022.”

The midfielder was practically ever present for Ollie Horgan’s side last season, starting 39 games in the Premier Division and FAI Cup.

The 29 year old began his career at Derry City in 2011 and had a second spell with the Candystripes in 2019 having played for Cork City in 2018.
