Scottish Premiership side Hibernian have announced the signing of Republic of Ireland Under 21 international Jake Doyle-Hayes ahead of the 2021/22 season.

The Cavan native makes the move from St Mirren where he made 30 appearances in all competitions last season.

"After speaking to the manager, I was delighted to get this opportunity," Doyle-Hayes said speaking to the club’s website.

"I saw the club last season and played against them and the players they have should be competing for 'medals' all the time.

“The expectation of the club is to be challenging for them and I think that's really good."

The 22 year old began his career as a youth player with Aston Villa with loan spells to Cambridge United and Cheltenham Town following, during his time with the Claret and Blue Army.
