Euro 2020 Round-Up: Former Ireland duo lead England to victory over Germany as Sweden crash out
Former Republic of Ireland duo Declan Rice and Jack Grealish inspired England to a famous 2-0 win over Germany at Wembley Stadium on Tuesday evening.
The result seals their place in the last eight of Euro 2020 after they saw off the Germans in front of over 40,000 fans.
The Three Lions endured a rocky start but grew into the game before scoring twice in the last 15 minutes of the game.

And Harry Kane then made sure of the victory late on as he headed home former Ireland under-21 Jack Grealish’s cross to make sure of the victory.

The win sets up England’s quarter-final clash against Ukraine after Andriy Shevchenko’s side secure a last-gasp extra-time win over Sweden.
The Ukrainians took a first-half lead through Manchester City full-back Oleksandr Zinchenko in the 27th minute.

But they were pegged back shortly after as Emil Forsberg levelled two minutes before the break after some good link-up play with Alexander Isak.
