Shelbourne re-sign Rebecca Cooke

Republic of Ireland Under 19 international Rebecca Cooke has re-signed with Shelbourne.

Cooke was a member of the Reds inaugural Under 17 Women’s National League squad and she made her debut for the senior side in 2019.

The midfielder was part of the Shelbourne side that finished as runners up to Peamount United in the Women’s National League in both 2019 and 2020.

In January 2021 she departed Tolka Park and moved to Quinnipiac University in Connecticut on a football scholarship.

Cooke could be in line to make her Women’s National League comeback  when Noel King’s side host Athlone Town at Tolka Park on Saturday afternoon (kick-off 2pm).
